Our story
When Team Driven began in 2005 they knew that in order to keep the team strong in the future something had to be done to reach younger children. Team members solved this problem with the same efficiency as any other by starting a summer camp. The first took place in the summer of 2006 with 24 elementary school students. They had no real plan as to what to do and were unsure of how successful it would be. Little did they know that many years later there would be so many weeks of summer camps with varying levels for students to choose from.
Why participate in Team Driven camps?
Your camper will gain hands-on experience with designing, building, and programming robots as well as teamwork and communication skills. All revenue generated from this program supports Team Driven year-round activities. Each year, we not only compete in the annual FIRST Robotics Competition, we put on summer camps, a junior robotics league, and participate in a number of community outreach programs.
